BLONDIES 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 heaping c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 box light brown sugar

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs; mix well. Then add all the other ingredients. Bake at 250 degrees until brown (about 45 minutes). Bake in biscuit pan or other suitable pan, cut before they get too cold. May sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
