TACO BURGERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
2 c. shredded lettuce
1 c. American cheese

In a skillet, brown meat; drain fat. Add tomatoes, chili powder, sauce, salt, sugar and mustard. Stir well, breaking up large pieces of tomatoes. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until thickened. Spoon onto toasted buns. Sprinkle each of the burgers with shredded lettuce and cheese. Makes 8 sandwiches.
