JELLO PEAR MOUND | |
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello (cherry flavor) 1 (4 1/2 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed 1. Drain pear halves, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add measured liquid. Chill until thickened - about 1 1/2 hours. Dice pears; set aside. 2. Fold 1/2 cup thickened gelatin into whipped topping. If necessary, chill again until mixture will mound. 3. Carefully line serving bowl with gelatin and whipped topping mixture, mounding high at edges to form a shell. |
