1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. pancake syrup
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter, melted

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into 2 (8") cake pans. Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Sprinkle nuts evenly over both cakes. Combine syrup and cinnamon, drizzle over both cakes. Pour melted butter over both. Do not stir. Return to oven. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool slightly. Serve warm. Make 2 (8") cakes. About 12 servings.
