GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger

Put oil, sugar in bowl. Mix, add egg and molasses and salt, beat.

Sift flour, clove, cinnamon, soda, and ginger. Add to above mix well, chill dough 1/2 hour. Make in balls, size of walnut roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
