CHEERIOS SNACK 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 c. Cheerios
1 c. white raisins
1 c. peanuts

Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup corn syrup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 cup butter. When done, add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, stirring constantly until poured over Cheerios, raisins and peanuts that have been spread on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Store in tightly sealed containers.
