ANISETTE SPONGE 
1 1/2 pkg. anisette sponge cookies
1/2 c. milk
2 pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 tsp. rum extract

Roll cookies in milk until soft. Line bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cookies. Cook pudding according to package directions; add rum extract. Pour pudding over cookies. Prepare Dream Whip according to package directions. Smooth Dream Whip over cookies. Chill in refrigerator at least 4-5 hours. Overnight is best.

Variation with chocolate pudding: Prepare 1 package each vanilla and chocolate pudding. Pour vanilla pudding over cookies - chill 2 hours. Then pour chocolate pudding over vanilla pudding, then Dream Whip. Chill overnight.

Serves 8-10.
