TACO SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 lb. ground beef
16 oz. can refried beans
1 jar salsa
8 oz. sour cream
3 c. broken tortilla chips
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 c. cubed tomatoes
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. shredded cheese
1 can sliced black olives
1/2 c. chopped onions (optional)

Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add taco seasoning mix and prepare as directed for tacos. In separate saucepan, warm refried beans and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Prepare lettuce for a salad. Add tomatoes, celery, onions, black olives, and 1 cup cheese. Mix well. Place refried beans on top of salad, then 1 cup of shredded cheese and taco meat on top. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is melted. Mix the ingredients on top of salad together with lettuce. Blend well. Add chips and salsa. Mix well. Place sour cream on top and serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.
