YUMMY LASAGNE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (lean)
1/2 lb. fresh pork sausage (lean)
3 (15 oz.) cans spaghetti sauce (or more)
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper
4 c. Ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
4 eggs
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese (sliced thin)
3/4 lb. lasagne
Parmesan cheese

Brown ground beef and sausage; drain. Stir in minced onion, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt and pepper to taste. Add spaghetti sauce and mix well. Simmer 30 minutes.

Cook lasagne according to package directions. Mix cottage cheese and eggs. Spoon a little bit of meat sauce over the bottom of a deep 13x9 pan. Layer lasagne, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle well with Parmesan cheese. (There should be enough ingredients for about 3 layers.)

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Let set about 15 minutes and serve. This is my original recipe.
