1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar, and egg yolks well. Add flour and beat; add buttermilk and mix well. Add well beaten egg whites to the mixture.
