POT CHICKEN - CROCKPOT | |
1 (3 lb.) whole fryer 2 sliced carrots 2 sliced onions 2 celery stalks with leaves, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chicken broth or water 1/2 tsp. dried basil Put vegetables into bottom of crockpot. Then whole chicken. Then sprinkle seasonings over chicken. Add basil and water. Cover and cook until done on low 8 to 10 hours. Or using 1 cup of liquid and put on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serve chicken and veggies only. |
