1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Mix thorough then add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 4-5 c. flour

Place in refrigerator and chill. Roll out on lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes using cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
