ITALIAN BEEF | |
7 lb. roast beef 3 pkgs. Aujus 7 tbsp. tomato paste 1 tsp. red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. basil 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Cook roast until almost done. Cool and then slice thin. Place in roast pan. Mix the 3 packages Aujus according to package directions. Add all the other ingredients to the juice. Mix well and pour over the roast beef. Cover and cook in 300 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. You can cook in slow cooker instead of oven. For slow cooker do the same as oven, cooking 4 hours on slow setting. Better to make day ahead. Keep in refrigerator and heat before serving. Makes great Italian beef sandwiches. |
