BOSTON CREAM CANDY 
3 lb. (6 c.) sugar
1/2 pt. (1 c.) cream
1 pt. (2 c.) milk
1/2 pt. (1 c.) white syrup
1 stick butter
2 lb. walnuts

Boil cream, milk, sugar, butter and syrup until it will form a HARD ball in cold water. Beat until cool. Add nuts and pour into buttered pan and cut into squares.

NOTE: Line pan with foil paper, mark candy when beginning to set. Let harden in refrigerator before packing on containers.
