BERRY PIE FILLING 
4 c. berries (strawberries or raspberries)

Combine:

1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. level cornstarch if berries are frozen 1/2 tbsp. more

Cook all ingredients until clear, boil 5 minutes. Remove from stove. Add 1 (3 ounce) Jello. Refrigerate until barely warm. Stir occasionally. In 14 minutes add berries and mix until blended. Pour into pie shell. Cool and serve with Cool Whip.
