APPLE WALNUT HARVEST CAKE 
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. fresh chopped apples
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts

BROWNED BUTTER ICING:

2 tbsp. butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
4-6 tsp. milk
Chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients in large bowl and beat with electric mixer 3 minutes. Pour into greased and lightly floured bundt cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Dust with powdered sugar or ice.

BROWNED BUTTER ICING: Heat butter in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until melted and lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; add confectioners' sugar and milk. Drizzle over cake and sprinkle with nuts.
