SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. pecan halves
3 eggs
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour

Arrange the pecans in the bottom of the pie shell. Beat the eggs; add the butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir until well blended.

Combine the sugar and flour blend this with the egg mixture. Pour over nuts in pie shell. Let stand until nuts rise to the surface. Then bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees to 350 degrees and cook until toothpick comes out clean.
