GRANNY'S ORIGINAL SOUTHERN PECAN
PIE
 
3 eggs
1/2 box brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell

Beat eggs, add sugar, dash of salt, melted butter. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Decorate top with pecan halves. Cook at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when sticking into center of pie. Cool to serve.
