2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cream
6 c. flour

Mix in order given. Don't make dough too stiff. Chill in refrigerator; roll out 1/2-inch thick.
