BANANA NUT BREAD | |
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 3/4 c. sifted whole wheat flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. chopped pecans 1 egg, well beaten 1 packet (8 level tsp.) Butter Buds mixed with 1/4 c. hot water 1/4 c. sugar 3 packets (1 tsp.) Sweet 'n Low 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. mashed bananas Sift together the first 6 ingredients, then add pecans. In a separate bowl combine the next 6 ingredients. Add the dry ingredients and mix until moist. Turn into non-stick 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for one hour in a preheated 350 degree oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. |
