OLD FASHIONED SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
1 lg. can tomatoes or 2 cans stewed tomatoes
4 slices toast, cut in cubes
1 tsp. grated onion
Salt to taste
Dash of pepper
1/4 c. melted butter

In 1 quart buttered casserole, alternate tomatoes and bread cubes ending with cubes. Season with onion, salt and pepper. Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves: 6.
