ASPARAGUS SALAD 
1 lb. asparagus
2 green onions, minced
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. freshly grated ginger
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. oriental sesame oil
1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

Snap off ends of asparagus. Peel and steam until barely tender. Set aside.
