SPECIAL FRUIT SALAD 
1 1/2 c. diced apples
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 c. seedless grapes
2 c. whole fresh strawberries
3/4 c. bananas, sliced
1 can mandarin oranges
1 c. pecans
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding
3 tbsp. Tang drink powder

Drain and reserve liquid from oranges and pineapples. Mix all fruits and pecans in large bowl and toss. In separate bowl mix pudding, powder and Tang powder with the fruit juices. Whip with wire whisk to make a thick sauce. Pour over fruit. Refrigerate overnight. Makes 12 to 14 servings.
