1 c. homemade or 1/2 lb. commercial almond paste 1 c. granulated sugar 2 egg whites 1/2 c. pine nuts Cut almond paste in small pieces, add sugar and egg whites and work with your hands to form a smooth paste. Roll into walnut sized balls and bake on greased or parchment covered baking sheet, leaving a space between each one. Flatten each one slightly and sprinkle generously with pine nuts. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes until cookies are golden brown. |
