PIERRE BROWNIES 
2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

FROSTING:

3/4 to 1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 to 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Dissolve soda in boiling water; cool slightly. Stir in all dry ingredients, egg, oil, and vanilla. Add nuts.

Pour in 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch pan. Sprinkle first with brown sugar, then chocolate chips so they self-frost.
