MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter
3 c. milk
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Cream well. Add vanilla and almond. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Sift flour 3 times. Alternate flour and milk. Bake in 325 degree oven until done. Take about 2 hours to bake.
