MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
3 qts. popcorn
1 1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place peanuts and corn in large brown paper bag (grocery). Combine brown sugar, butter, syrup, and salt in 2 quart bowl; microwave for 4 minutes on high, stirring after every minute until mixture boils. Then microwave an additional 2 minutes. Stir in baking soda. Pour mixture over popped corn in bag. Close bag and shake well. Microwave on high power 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and cook another 1 1/2 minutes. Pour into roaster or onto wax paper. Cool and stir. Makes 3 quarts. Spray all utensils with vegetable spray.

Note: This recipe may have to be adjusted according to the watts of your microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
