BARBECUED RIBS 
2 lbs. spareribs
2 tbsp. fat
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup or chili sauce
1 med. onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. water
Salt & pepper

Cut ribs into serving portions. Place in baking dish or pan. Bake 30 minutes. Chop onion and brown in fat. Add lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and ketchup. Cook slowly for 20 minutes. Pour over ribs. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until meat is done.
