RHUBARB COBBLER 
3 c. rhubarb
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cut rhubarb into small pieces. Arrange in 7 1/2 x 12 inch pan. Cover with sugar and dot with bits of butter. Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat. Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with the milk. Pour over rhubarb. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
