1/4 c. butter
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (or raisins, marshmallows, etc.)

Melt butter and chocolate in pan over low heat. Stir in syrup, water, vanilla. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
