BACON BRUNCH STRATA 
10 slices white bread, crusts removed
3 tbsp. butter
8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
8 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 c. chopped parsley
6 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk

Grease a 3 quart oblong glass baking dish. Spread one side of bread slices with butter and cut into cubes. Mix grated cheese, crumbled bacon and parsley. In a separate bowl, mix beaten eggs with salt, red pepper, dry mustard and milk. Layer bread cubes, cheese mixture, and egg mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let set 5 to 10 minutes after remaining from oven before serving.

Yield: 12 servings.
