NANAIMO BARS 
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 egg
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans

FILLING:

1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. custard powder (or instant vanilla pudding)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted powdered sugar

ICING:

4 sqs. semi-sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. butter

Mix together butter, sugar, cocoa, egg, graham wafer crumbs, coconut, and pecans. Press into 9 inch square pan. Refrigerate while making filling.

Filling: Cream together butter, custard powder, and vanilla. Gradually blend in milk and powdered sugar alternately. Spread over base; chill well before icing.

Icing: Melt chocolate and butter together. Spread on chilled mixture. Chill until chocolate sets. Cut into small squares. Store refrigerated.
