AUNT ANNA MAE'S CHICKEN SOUP 
1 lg. stewing chicken
4 qts. water
2 carrots, sliced
2 sticks of celery, sliced
4 chicken bouillon cubes
Salt to taste

Place water and chicken in stock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Remove chicken, drain, debone and shred into bite-size pieces. Return pieces to broth. Add cooked noodles, pastina or dumplings.
