AUNT SHERYN'S TOFFEE COOKIES 
1 box graham crackers
2 pkgs. slivered almonds
1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter

Melt butter, then add 1/2 cup sugar. Boil for 2 minutes. Line cookie sheet (jelly roll pan) completely with crackers. Sprinkle almonds over top. Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 325 degrees for 14 minutes. Remove immediately from pan to waxed paper and can then cut to size before cool.
