CHERRY CHIP CREAM CHEESE BARS 
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Cherry Chip cake mix
1/2 c. flaked coconut or chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla and half of the cake mix (dry) until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and the coconut or nuts.

Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet. About 5 dozen.
