MRS. RAMEY'S SORGHUM CAKE 
1 c. sorghum molasses
1 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 c. lard
1 tbsp. vanilla
Add some spices if desired

Cream the large and sugar, add eggs and beat. Add molasses, flour and milk a little at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla and spices. Bake at 350 degrees. Is done when firm in the middle.
