CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 (6 serving size) instant vanilla pudding
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chocolate chips

Mix flour and baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in large bowl, beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs, gradually add flour and soda mixture, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet about 2" apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 10 dozen.
