CARAMELIZED POPPED CORN 
8 qts. popped corn
1 c. roasted peanuts
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. molasses
1 stick butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Put brown sugar, sugar, molasses, butter, and salt into saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over freshly popped corn and peanuts which have been mixed in a very large container. Mix well and turn out into two large pans or baking sheets. Place in a 250 degree oven for one hour. Stir corn occasionally while in oven. When cool, store in light container.
