GINGER CHICKEN 
1 (3 lb.) chicken
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. water

Combine water and salt in glass casserole dish. Place chicken in the container, breast side down; cover. Microwave on high for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; turn chicken breast side up, recover. Microwave on high for 10 minutes until done. Chop chicken into serving pieces.

GINGER SAUCE:

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. ginger, finely chopped
2 tbsp. green onion, finely chopped
2 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. oil

Combine all the ingredients into glass dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until oil is hot. Pour over chicken.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
