FLOUR TORTILLAS 
4 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. warm water

Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add water a little at a time until ball forms. Should be on dry side. Make egg size balls, flatten out with rolling pin between wax paper. Then cook on hot griddle or skillet to soft tortilla. Serve with: honey, powder sugar, stuffed with meats and vegetables.
