COUNTRY STYLE VANILLA ICE CREAM 
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
Approximately 5 c. milk
4 c. whipping cream
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, beat until thickened, add cream, vanilla and salt and mix thoroughly. Pour into can (chilled) add milk to fill line. Makes 1 gallon. For 6 quart size add accordingly.
