STRAWBERRY YOGURT DESSERT 
3 c. Kix cereal, crushed (about 1 1/2 c.)
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. sugar
1 env. (.25 oz.) unflavored gelatin
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen sweetened strawberries thawed & drained (reserve liquid)
2/3 c. boiling water
2 containers (8 oz. each) vanilla flavored yogurt (2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cereal, butter and sugar; press firmly in bottom of ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches. Bake 10 minutes; cool completely.

Sprinkle gelatin over reserved strawberry liquid; let stand 1 minute. Pour boiling water over gelatin. Stir until gelatin is dissolved; cool completely.

Place strawberries in blender container or in food processor work bowl fitted with steel blade. Cover and blend on high speed until smooth. Mix gelatin mixture, yogurt and vanilla until smooth; stir in strawberries until well blended. Pour over crust. Refrigerate uncovered until set, at least 4 hours. 9 servings.
