BREAD STUFFING 
4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. minced onion

In a large saucepan mix ingredients lightly with fork over medium to high heat. Season to taste. This makes a light, crumbly stuffing. If you prefer a compact stuffing, moisten with hot water or scalded milk and stir in 1 egg, slightly beaten. Makes 4 cups.
