CHILI RELLENO PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
Salt and pepper to taste
1-2 cans green chilies, chopped
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 c. half and half
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 sm. can tomato sauce

Brown meat with onion, green pepper, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Spread chilies on bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover with browned meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Combine eggs, cream and cornstarch and pour over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Pour tomato sauce on top and bake for 10 more minutes.
