MACARONI SALAD 
2 lb. cooked elbow macaroni
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 onion, grated
1 carrot, grated
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Pinch salt
Optional 1 green pepper, chopped

Drain and rinse macaroni in cold water. Do not overcook. It should be cold and dry before mixing with ingredients.

Mix together vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Combine with macaroni, onion and carrot. Add mayonnaise last. Add green pepper if desired.
