Cake:

1/3 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 stick butter
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil oil, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 stick butter, water. Mix in flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, eggs, buttermilk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Bake in a 9 x 13 greased or sprayed pan at 400°F for 20 minutes.

Icing:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil ingredients together, beat well. Pour icing over cake while hot. May also poke holes in cake for icing to drizzle through.
