EASY PEACH COBBLER 
4 c. sliced fresh peaches or drained canned
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Place peaches in 8 x 8 x 2 inch square pan. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of sugar mixed with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. In another bowl, beat egg add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 tablespoon soft butter, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. Beat until all is mixed. Pour or spread over hot peaches after the 20 minutes. Then put back into oven and bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes more until brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
