MY FAVORITE STEW 
3 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut in 1" squares
3 c. carrots, 1"
1 1/2 c. celery, 1"
2 med. onions, cut up
2 (8 oz.) cans water chestnuts
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
4 tbsp. flour

Mix flour with above.

1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 can beef broth
1 c. water
2 bay leaves
Liquid from mushrooms & chestnuts

Put in large casserole. Bake at 325 degrees for 4 hours. Serves 8.
