1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 c. Wheaties or Corn Flakes
1 c. coarsely chopped salted peanuts

Mix in order given. Roll in ball in hand. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake 375°F for 10 to 20 minutes.
