MILK AND DUMPLINGS 
This recipe is one of my favorites. It is fast and easy to make and very tasty. I don't know where it came from.

1 soup bowl milk
1 soup bowl flour
Water
Salt and pepper to taste

Warm milk and skim off. Add water to flour to make doughy but not firm. Add pinch of salt and pepper. Drop level teaspoonfuls into already boiling water. Dough should drop off spoon when put into the boiling water. Boil dumplings for another 10 minutes or until done. Drain and add to warmed skimmed milk. Salt to taste.
